Help Uplift the Walton Family Through Crohn’s Diagnosis and Treatment

Depending on what time you are reading this, I would like to say Good Morning, Good Afternoon, or Good Evening. I am creating this GoGetFunding Campaign for a dear friend of mine, Brandy Walton. I met Brandy when I started selling Tupperware, 2 years ago. She has always been such a wonderful and warm person to talk to and be around. I couldn’t help but WANT to help her and her dear family. You see, in April Brandy’s husband (the primary provider in the home) was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease. For those who do not know what Crohn’s Disease is, it is an inflammatory bowel disease. It causes inflammation of the lining of your digestive tract, which can lead to abdominal pain, severe diarrhea, fatigue, weight loss, and malnutrition. It can be both painful and debilitating, and sometimes lead to life-threatening complications. My father has Crohn’s Disease and has had several feet of his intestines removed because of it. The key is to get him stable, so that he can manage this disease and his life. Brandy’s husband has been hospitalized 4 times since May, lost 112lbs, and has only been able to work about 2 full weeks since his first admission. He was readmitted to the hospital yesterday (7/15/15) and is expected to be there for about a week. Brandy has taken on the role of his home nurse and has been taking care of him, along with managing their home and taking care of their 2 children. Because of the time involved, she has not been able to work her own business (Tupperware), which would have enabled her to bring some money into the home. She is NOT one to ask for help and although I can completely understand that, she is in NEED of assistance. Due to him being out of work and her not being able to work her business, they are struggling financially. Between the medical bills and keeping their home running, at the end of the day, there are more bills than money to pay them. Additionally, school will be starting soon and the kids need clothes and school supplies. I truly wish there were some other way to help them, other than asking others, but I am reaching out FOR them. Any assistance you can provide to and for this family would be greatly appreciated!
