Hello and thanks for taking the time to read my story. My name is Thomas and I've been in a great, long distance relationship with one of the greatest guys I have ever met. Our interest in each other, our communities and the world we live in has allowed us to form a strong bond and connection; one I did not think was possible.

The two of us both deal with similar mental health issues and we offer each other invaluable support and understanding, which only strengthens how we feel for each other. Nightly skype phone and video calls keep us together dispite over 800 miles that physically seperate us. Our goal is to plan a two week trip towards the end of August to celebrate our anniversary. If my vehicle did have over 150,000 miles I'd attempt to drive there, staying overnight half way through, however it may be a wiser decision to fly.

I'm here on our behalf to help ease some of the expenses of making this trip, another chapter in our lives, possible. I live paycheck to paycheck and after my monthly responsibilities are paid, I have little left over and it would sometime next year before I could afford to have a trip saved up. It's not easy for me to be here because I take pride in making my own living, however for him, I ask for donations from anybody out there who has been in a long distance relationship or just wants to see love flourish for a young couple.

Any amount would be greatly appreciated and I'd love to offer pictures as a reward for helping. I will bring my digital camera along to snap as many great pictures of the scenery in Canada and you can choose one you love and I'll make sure a quality copy is printed and mailed to you.
