This fundraiser sponsors Hispanic students in American who take in the struggle amongst all odds, whether that is pregancy, family, or financial. In the coming months, I hope to raise USD $300,000 that will be awared to Yale University as a scholarship for underprivileged Hispanic youth. Already, Hispanics represent 16.7% of the U.S. population and 17.6 % of Hispanic students in the United States of America dropped out of high-school in 2009, historically this record has created much controversy not only in the nation but has made a significant impact on a global scale as it represents America's lagging future work performance. With your gift of any amount, we as global citizens may provide for those who may have a dream of attending an ivy league school but are simply casted out from the option due to not being able to afford the tuiton of $58,600. Through this fundraiser Yale University will be able to award five bright and deserving hispanic students with a scholarship that will not only open the door to a prestigious education, but also the Hispanic community as a whole. Education is central to solving poverty not only here in the United States of America but in the world. Any contribution is welcomed. All funds will be directly donated to Yale University for hispanic candidates for admission.
