The Empowerment Through Education Trust

It is time again for the annual Blisters for Bread charity walk.

With your generous donations last year, we managed to raise R7000. Half of that money went to the Blisters for Bread feeding program and the other half went to the ETE trust to pay school fees in 2019. With your contributions we were able to feed 200 hungry kids during their school lunch break! Awesome!

What is the ETE Trust?

We are a registered NPO committed to providing bursaries for the continuing education of disadvantaged children (in Cape Town) who exhibit the talent and determination to succeed.

There are 3 vital elements employed to achieve a real difference in the lives of our ETE kids and the communities they come from: best education, real integration and solid community development.

Our High School students (15 of them) want to give back to others in need. They would love to again take part in the Blisters for Bread Charity Fun Walk on 25 AUGUST 2019. Each entry fee they pay for enables the PSFA to provide 20 underprivileged hungry school children with two nutritious meals for an entire day!

Our ETE kids would love to be sponsored to take part in the charity walk again and seed 50% of the funds raised back into a donation for Blisters for Bread Charity walk, thus paying it forward while also raising funds for their own school 2020 fees. It costs us R55,000 per year to educate one ETE student because we provide everything from school fees, uniforms and stationary, to sports equipment, transport and tutoring.

Please HELP our students pay it forward again.

We are a registered NPO Trust Registration No. IT 2320/2009

Thank you for helping our kids
