My name is Lena, and I am from Ukraine. The entire world knows about what’s going on in my country, so I will spare you from the details.

While I was lucky to immigrate to the US back in 2014, my entire family and all of my friends are still there and are going through something I can only describe as complete hell.

I’m sure all of you have come across multiple organizations that have raised money to help the people in need. I did to. My husband and I have made multiple donations ourselves and yet from what I am hearing, that help is not getting to where it needs to go unfortunately.

Many families in my town not only have lost their loved ones but also their providers. The lack of supplies and necessities are compounding to the stresses of trying to survive.

It is currently the middle of Winter, and everyone is afraid the supplies of food, medicine, toilet paper and basic necessities will run out.

As the country is under the state of emergency, people have lost their incomes and are not able to provide for the families and pay for the funerals of their fallen heroes.

I can’t even start telling you how helpless I feel and how desperately I am trying to help not only those who got impacted by the war, but also those who are risking their lives protecting our freedom.

My goal is to raise funds that will be transferred directly to the volunteers in Ukraine to make purchases there on the ground. Volunteers I have personally known since I was a child. Volunteers who will be providing reports, receipts, and pictures.

Whatever we can’t find, we will coordinate with folks in Poland to deliver items. Those goods will then be distributed throughout the town and to the people who desperately need it.

This would be the fastest and most efficient way to get the people in my town the things they need to survive. Thank you everyone for your donations and shares.

Glory to Ukraine!!!
