Help Trailhead Coffee & Cycling Lounge!

Early on the morning of May 12, as the Amgen Tour prepared for time trials in Folsom, someone broke into Trailhead Coffee & Cycling Lounge and stole multiple expensive bicycles from the shop area. These were bikes taken on consignment or left for repair. Because those bikes don't belong to the owners of the shop, Jerry and Dana, their business insurance will not cover the replacement of the bikes - an amount close to $8000. The individual bicycle owners' insurance may cover the expenses... eventually. But Jerry is a small business owner and wants to make good with his customers as soon as he can, so he is going to pay out of his pocket to replace those bicycles. If you've met Jerry and Dana, you know how special they and their shop are. It's more than a place to stop and refill your water bottle midway through a ride or get expert service on your bike; they make every person that walks through their door feel at home - whether they're buying a latte and a famous Trailhead Trail Bar, or just using the restroom. Owning a small business is rough. Every responsibility, every worry falls to Jerry and Dana. They rely on their friendly and loyal customers to come back again and again, and to tell their friends to go and sample the wonderful Trailhead Signature Blend coffee, the expert knowledge, and genuine hospitality. An event like this can destroy a small business, due to the actual cost to recover and the potential negative publicity about the safety of bicycles left at the shop. Jerry and Dana would never ask for help from anyone, but we can't let them struggle because of one unconscionable act. Can you help them pay for these stolen bicycles?
