Help Traigh Hunter Pathon get to the European Kids Golf Open in Scotland

Traigh Hunter Pathon has shown incredible golfing talent since he was 18 months old. He has played golf and trained hard in the last few years. He started playing in his first SA Kids golf tournament since he was 4 years and 8 months old and entered in the age 5 - 6 category. He has come first in his last 3 tournaments with SA Kids and is the overall leader in aged 5 - 6 for the Western Cape. For 2017, he has played in 2 local competions. He is a member of SA Kids Golf a non profit supporting childrens golf competitions.

In August 2017 at San Lameer Golf Estate, Traigh played his first international competion. 140 boys and girls from around the world entered the competition. 100 from Africa and 40 internationals. Traigh played with 14 boys age 7 in a 3 day intense competition.

We are very proud to say he came 3rd overall and shot a qualifying score which has given him entry into international competitions for which we need your support.

In December 2017, Traigh competed in the Malaysia World Kids Golf Open, a 3 day competition. Amidst the weather conditions, blistering heat and rain down pours, Traigh tied for 7th place out of 24 boys in his age category. An amazing achievement :)

Traigh is born on the 8th March 2010 a true piscean and is currently in Grade 1. Traigh grew up on the Cape Flats and is the youngest of 5 children. He has 4 sisters.

He is currently the youngest member at Royal Cape Golf Course in Wynberg and at the River Club in Observatory

In Feb 2018, he travelled to Johannesburg and played in the 2 day US qualifier competition with 12 boys aged 8. Traigh only turns 8 in March 2018. On day 1 he shot a 38 and on day 2 again 38. The course and weather conditions were tough and the greens very fast. He won by 8 shots. He was the smallest and youngest. We are very proud of his achievements.
