Toby is a Staffordshire Bull terrier who is my world! He turned 3 years old this week, but has had a tough time of it lately. His rear right leg has been giving him trouble since Spring time, and turned out to be a torn cruciate ligament. Happily, and thankfully our pet insurance covered most of the cost of his operation in September to fix his leg and he is now slowly but surely getting out and about once again and he start enjoying his life again! However our surgeon noticed his other cruciate ligament is tearing, and he will need the same operation on his rear left leg in a matter of weeks or months. Sadly our pet insurance group class this as the same condition and as we have already reached our claim limit for this condition, we need to fund the operation ourselves. We could leave it, but then my furbaby would get arthritic knees and be in pain, something he doesn't deserve! He is my world and I am madly saving any monies I can to save up for the operation. The first operation cost over £3500 and the second will be similar. If you can help with any donation, no matter what the amount, me and Toby would be so thankful. He is only young, he should be enjoying being a young active doggy not in pain unable to get out. I see his face and remember his pain when his first ligament tore, and knowing it will happen again i need to raise funds so he can have his operation. Please please please help if you can, and thank you for taking the time to read this.
