Campaign Story
Climate change affects us all. Especially in Africa people are being overwhelmingly affected by the impact of climate change. Therefore Child Care Foundation Uganda thorugh its Schools Tree Project ,empowers children to become stewards in climate change mitigation. The project plants trees to schools and also teaches children how to raise their own fruit trees. This has a double effect:Ssecuring food availability for upcoming generations and also tackling Climate change via reforestation. The Schools Tree Project is conducted by Ronald Kiwalabye, an environmentalist by heart from Jinja, Uganda. He is accompanied by his team and by volunteers from all over the world. Since the project was launched in 2016, Ronald and his team planted trees in about 70 schools in Uganda. The funds will be used for the purchase of e.g. fruit seeds, trees and watering cans. Ronalds vision is to plant trees in schools all over Uganda, and maybe all around the world. Your donations will help Ronald maintain his project and therefore help to pave the way into a sustainable future.
