Help to fund new Interior Design business

IDBD is a newly established company hence we are seeking for financial help in order to develop the company. We have been working in Interior design industry for last few years. Now we have decided put our skills into practise and open an Interior design studio. All contributions above £400 will be rewarded by free interior design consultation.

Company Description/ Services

IDBD is an Interior Design studio specialising in residential and commercial design. Our team comprise of educated and skilled designers, ranging from interior designers to digital designers.  We treat each project individually, and craft our designs according to property layout, the natural light flowing through the space, and the style preferences of our clients. We produce personalised and unique design schemes, tailoring each detail to your own specification. We work only with highly skilled contractors and craftsman, putting emphasis on attention to detail and quality of the materials and finish.

Our target

Our target clients range from middle and upper class families, to young professionals in the city. Many people are constantly decorating or renovating their properties. Besides residential design, there are many great opportunities with regards to commercial projects, such as hotels restaurant and offices.

Experience

By working in various establishments over the past few years, I have developed key skills in many areas. I regard my leadership qualities as strong and confident, and instil this positivity through to my clients. I possess strong problem solving skills, and I am able to respond quickly under pressure.

Other skills include Project Management; taking into consideration time frames, booking contractors and budgeting. Sourcing a variety of products from furniture to flooring, wallpaper, lighting etc. Researching, especially historical period decors, and varying cultural and ethnic design. I am proficient in several software packages, including; Photoshop, AutoCad and Cinema 4D. Another vital skill I have become proficient in is space planning.

To date, we have accomplished several projects, and have learnt many vital skills from each. By completing these projects, we have illustrated we have all the relevant skills and experience to make this a successful and lucrative business.

In 2013 we began work with a few property developers in London. In the near future I would like to expand my business with projects aboard, in Dubai and Qatar. I have already built a great relationship with an owner of a building company out in Dubai. He is very keen to get IDBD on board with commencing builds.

Future

My vision for the business is to expand locally then on a national platform as well as internationally with the assistance of my overseas contacts. In the near future, I would like to give an opportunity to graduates to take part in an internship. This will be a great opportunity for any young designer to learn the trade. I would like to provide the opportunity to provide more work spaces for young and upcoming interior designers.
