Need assistance to become Self-employed; Taxi Driver, in Jamaica. The economic situation in Jamaica is not stable as many would think more so for individuals without help from family. I am currently seeking to become a taxi driver in Jamaica, banks and financial lenders will not give loans to persons making less than $70,000+ JMD; which excludes the majority of Jamaicans who make less than $30,000 JMD, and also don't consider cosigns for loans. The amount I asking for assistance with along side the help from my friends will allow me to likely just afford a 1990-99 vehicle, but , all I need is a start, with commitment and determination I will grow. I just need a start that's all I'm asking please help me get to the starting line.
