Help Tina Intern Abroad

Namaste!

My name is Tina Thach and I am a second-year Innovation Academy student at the University of Florida majoring in Advertising and double-minoring in Business and Innovation. I am raising money in order to fund my internship abroad this upcoming Fall 2016 semester. I will be living in Barcelona, Spain from August - November. I am extremely excited to embark on this journey, as it has always been a dream of mine to go to Europe, let alone getting the opportunity to intern.

I will be making my dream a reality - along with working full-time in the industry, gaining professional experience and broadening my horizons. Apart from my internship, I will be given the chance to experience the city, the people, and the culture. This aspect is essential to my career path. Advertisements heavily and subconsciously influence society, and with the further experience, I will be able to learn about different types of people and different cultures. Advertisements are used to influence, inform, and persuade. It is a dream of mine to work in the industry and do so in an ethical, organic, and positive way.

The cost of this program (not including personal spending) covers:

This means a lot to me not just because of my dream to go to Europe, but the opportunity life has given me to work towards my dreams in life. I want to bring a social impact and this is one step further towards my biggest goal in life. With this experience, I hope to gain further knowledge in how I can bring change.

I am very grateful for everyone's support, without it I would not be a student at the greatest university in the world (Go Gators!) and I would not have this opportunity today.
