The Qur`an states,

❝(The righteous are those) who feed the poor, the orphan and the captives for the love of God, saying: ‘We feed you for the sake of God alone; we seek from you neither reward nor thanks.'❞

― 76:8-9

The Holy Month of Ramadan is coming and with extraordinary challenges encountered by many poor and needy families, the scarcity of food remains one of the major hurdles at the downward section of Muslim Community.

While Ramadhan is the time for Muslims to devote themselves to faith, the holy month also invites followers to be empathetic and lend a helping hand to the less fortunate.

While most of us would readily spend ₹2,000 on a fine dining experience, one ration pack worth ₹1,000 is the assurance that the underpreviliged will not go to bed without iftaar (evening meal for breaking fast), dinner, and will not fast without suhoor (pre-dawn meal) for an entire month.

Ramadan is the time of giving and sharing, especially with those who are less fortunate. We are trying to help under privileged families with their basic food needs. During Ramadan, we're planning, with your help, to provide a month’s ration to 100+ families.

In the holy month of Ramadhan, food for sehri (pre-dawn meal) and iftar (meal for breaking fast).

This year, we have decided to distribute Ration packs to 100+ underprivileged families across Assam Rural area

The Qur`an states,

Detailed list of Ramadhan Ration Pack:

- 10 Kg Rice -- 25×30= 750

- 5 kg Sugar -- 5×50=150

- 2 ltrs Cooking Oil -- 2×130=260

- 2 kg Dates 150×2=200

- 1 kg Chick Pea (Kala chana) =100

- Some Others item = 100

The price per pack would approximately be ₹ 1,500/-
