Knocking on your hearts for a friend.

I have a friend, at first youll see her as an ordinary woman living an ordinary life. Healthy and bubbly with no signs of weakness or illness. But once you get to know her, everything she is goin through, you'll realize how lucky you are to be living the life you have.

Hello everyone, meet Analyn Magsayo. Ann as we call her, the strongest mom I know, a very positive and happy person, no wonder I easily got so comfortable with her. Ann is the loving wife of Airyl Magsayo and a mother of 2 beautiful kids, Angela, 9, and Aaron, 8, with a new baby boy coming on its way. I met Ann at my sister's workplace, she is a crew at fatcow (a company I am thankful of for not judging Ann's condition). My sister introduced me to her, and told me her story. Since then I felt the urge to help her, any way I can.

Her story:

Sometime in 2016, Ann was cleaning their house, she got the urge to rearrange their furnitures, despite the weight, Ann was able to transfer their furnitures from one place to the other, exhausted at the end of the day. However, a week after, she felt pain on her breast, when she checked on it, she noticed a lump on her nipple. Scared, Ann decided not to do anything about it and just forget what she discovered but on july 2016 the pain was already bothering her so she decided to check it with the doctor already and undergone biopsy, later it was confirmed that she had stage 2 cancer. Scared and confused, she had difficulty accepting it as she has 2 young kids to look after. But for the sake of her family, Ann decided to go under operation as advise by her doctor, she was also advised not to get pregnant anymore, and so she decided to go on ligation after knowing but was not able to because God has a different plan for them. God gave them another angel on Aug. of 2018. Fast forward to 2019, Ann noticed a few discharge on her breast with a little blood in it so she was asked to undergo another biopsy on March 2019, it was then confirmed that the cancer has already progressed to stage 3, a total shock to everyone who cares for her. Doctors advised Ann to go on chemotheraphy right after she gives birth this month (May 2019), being positive Ann is brave enough and ready to undergo chemo in order to win this fight with cancer and for the sake of her family, specially the youngest one who is so naive to know anything of it. However one of the biggest challenges today they are facing is how are they gonna pay for the medication, both she and her husband are on minimum wage, they have kids to send to school, bills and rent to pay. Ann needs 8 sessions of chemo which will cost them no lesser than 10k per session. She is also advised that her breast be removed after the chemo, which will cost them another more. Doctors were willing to help her but only for the service, for the medication it will only be Ann's call. Ann has very little to no funds.

I feel for Ann, you will normally see her as a bubbly, talkative person with no trace of saddness or worries. It's as if she's not feeling any pain inside, that everything is fine. But I always caught myself asking how painful it would be to know you have this unfortunate disease and that the only thing you could promise to your family is to fight, how painful it is to bear a child not knowing what your future will be after you give birth to him. As someone who cares, I am not ready to see Ann become weak because of the theraphy as it kills your cells, that is why I am knocking on your hearts, to at least show Ann that there is still hope that she just needed to fight, that she need not to worry about the financials because God and the world will help.

So please, on behalf of Ann's family and friends, for the sake of her baby for him to enjoy years and years to be with his mom, I would like to ask for your financial help, any amount will do, an amount that you are happy to share. And for anyone of you who's unable to help financially, your prayers will be much of a great help. And know that God will one day repay your kindness. We are blessed enough to be posting happy and well photos of Ann while having this campaign and I wish to continue it that way. So please help us give Ann a hope, and help us fight this disease with her.
