Campaign Story
This beautiful puppy was saved in Kairouan by a local animal rescuer this afternoon who took her away from children who nearly tortured her to death. I think she was always kept in a box, only ran a little, because her bones on the hind legs are deformed. I've bathed her, treated her for worms, and given her a puppy flea and tick hot spot. I also brought her to the vet and found out that the poor baby has:
1. Deformed bones to be operated on next week
2. Severe scabies to be treated
3. Worms
4. A fever
