I'm a 21 year old Engineering student in Porto, Portugal. The reason I chose Engineering was that I thought I could make some contribution to the world by working on ways to reduce Global Warming. However, by doing some travelling I've come to realise how unfair it is that a tiny fraction of the world's population (in which I'm included) has such a good life quality over the hundreds of millions of children starving to death, not being able to go to school, not having access to clean water among many other social problems. As such, I feel more and more the need to give my contribution to the world by spending a month during my summer holidays in Africa giving some children the education they deserve by teaching English, Maths and other subjects (depending on what's needed).

The only thing setting me back right now is the money required to travel to and from there and to pay the volunteering fees (which also serve as donations). So, I'm kindly asking you to help me Helping the World. Your money will serve a good purpose - it could turn the lives of some children upside down and make it exponentially better. Education goes a long way.

I have excellent knowledge of Maths, Physics and Chemistry as well as being bilingual ( I fluently speak English and Portuguese) and a beginner/intermediate level of German (A2)
