Lesbos amongst other Greek Islands has become a gateway into Europe for thousands of refugees. Many people from Syria arrive daily by boat, making the dangerous journey by sea from Turkey. Most of these people cannot swim and often do not have the safety of a life jacket.

Our Orthodox Christian Order take a stand and raise funds to help these people in need.

Our team of christian brothers were in Lesbos for about one month and saw refugees arriving daily; families with young children who have risked their lives to escape from the war zone of their countries. These people arrive with very little and there is limited shelter for them when they arrive in Samos. We want to raise funds for them so to make their arrival into Lesbos as easy as possible. We have to to provide supplies of nappies, blankets, water and even toys for their children. The money we raise will go directly to volunteer Archipelagos marine institute who have been working hard to provide much needed supplies and help the refugees. Please help if you can and remember that these people want a chance for a better life. Thank you
