Help The Refugee Children Of English Cameroon

The truth is, though it has been going on for over 3 years now, some people still do not know about the anglophone crisis going on in Cameroon. The country which happens to be one of the only two bilingual countries in the world, is made up of 10 regions (8 French speaking regions) and (2 English speaking regions). The minority anglophone population, felt they have been marginalized for too long and decided to speak up for their rights and ask for equality when it comes to administrative power in ruling the country but their plea was met with brutality, rape and murder by the military and this has led to serious armed conflicts in the region since 2015. The children living in the English-speaking regions are the highest who have suffered the effects of the civil unrest as some have witnessed their homes burned down to ashes, some have witnessed their family members massacred and have been forced to flee from their little villages and settlements, majority of these children no longer have access to education and have stopped school completely, young boys have engaged into armed robbery, young girls have gotten into prostitution and some are victims of sex trafficking, all in an effort to fend for themselves. Some of these children now live in small refugee camps and make shift settlements under deplorable conditions completely forgotten by the government and the outside world and some are still in hiding in bushes at the mercy of wild animals and diseases. These children are in dire need of assistance and it is up to me and you to help them. They need food, clothes, shelter, medications, books, pens, toys and so much more. They need to feel like they still belong in the society, they need to know that love exists in a world that has given them nothing but pain and hatred.
