FEED the needy in Manila during Lockdown!

We are two Singaporean kids who live in Manila as our daddy has a job here. During this terrible period in Manila, many are daily wage earners who have lost their jobs and have little support from the government here.

We would like to make sure that the poor people who live in the poor areas nearby have food to eat. Just $2 SGD will buy a person 3 meals a day so that they will not have to go hungry. They need food to keep their immune system well. I'm sure you are well aware Manila has registered the highest number of Covid 19 cases in the whole of ASEAN.

If you are thinking of an alternative place to donate the recent $600 given by our generous Singaporean government, and think your money will go much further in Manila, we are able to make your money go the extra mile!

My mother will channel whatever monies you have donated to a food charity which has a huge kitchen ( something like a Willing Hearts in Singapore) that is currently preparing meals for these daily wage earners on a daily basis. $2 SGD can feed a person for a whole day here in Manila. Approximately 600 meals are being prepared daily for them as well as frontline nurses and doctors in the hospitals. Our parents have been making consistent donations to this food charity since the lockdown started.

100 SGD = 3560 pesos approximately .. that is the equivalent of 50 meals! SGD will go a long way in terms of pesos.

Once lockdown in Manila is lifted and these daily wage earners have means of getting an income, we will stop this campaign. We do not expect the lockdown to end on 30th April. It has been already more than 30 days of lockdown and we are still registering 200 plus infections per day.
