Ahoooy pirates!! We are the family of Cozumel´s pirate ship, a dinner/ show experience company at the caribbean island of Cozumel. We´ve always stood out for our high service quality, and our social responsibility by organizing every year events for kids with cáncer (Mi último deseo), low resources, and orphans, as well as for the solidarity towards our employees. Even during the catastrophe of hurricane wilma in 2005 we helped them so that all could overcome the tough times. Now we face the challenge of Covid-19 crisis, and the tragedy of the sinking of our beloved ship, our biggest challenges so far, which is why we ask for your aid so that the ship that has brought joy to many (and of which many depend on) can be rescued from the depths of the sea and all members of the pirate ship can survive this terrible crisis. Even 1$ is of great importance and if you donate 60 USD$ we will give you a gift card valid for our pirate show&dinner or 2 dives at the wondrous Cozumel reefs if you are a certified diver. Ahoooy piratas!! Somos la familia del barco pirata de Cozumel, una empresa de show/cena en la bella isla caribeña de Cozumel. Somos una empresa que siempre se ha destacado por su alta calidad de servicio y su responsabilidad social al hacer cada año eventos para niños con cáncer (Mi último deseo), de bajos recursos y huérfanos, al igual que la solidaridad a nuestros empleados pues incluso durante la catástrofe del huracán Wilma (uno de los más fuertes de la historia) en el 2005 los ayudamos para que todos saliéramos adelante. Ahora nos enfrentamos al reto de la crisis del Covid-19, y la tragedia del hundimiento del amado barco, nuestros mayores retos hasta ahora. Por ello les pedimos su ayuda para rescatar al barco que tanta alegría a traído a muchos (y del cual muchos dependen) para que así todos los miembros del barco pirata puedan sobrevivir esta terrible crisis. Incluso 1$ es de gran importancia y si donas 60 USD$ te daremos una gift card canjeable por nuestro show/cena pirata o 2 buceos en los fantásticos arrecifes de Cozumel si eres buzo certificado. My friends and I so love the Pirate ship experience !! We do it every time we come to Cozumel. I was heartbroken when it went down and elated when I found out it was raised and will be operational once again. Look forward to coming again next year. Also, thanks to Cindy Trautwein for keeping us up to date and booking our trips.
2nd rescue attempt tomorrow
Update posted by Luis Manuel Perez Medina at 01:50 amAhoooy pirates, unfortunately we couldn´t rescue the Olonés today even though we tried with all our will and effort to do so. Two floatation bags we were using broke, we are now trying to repair them and get new extra ones so tomorrow we can ensure the rescue of the. . . . .
