World Challenge - Help The People Of Nepal
Hello, my name is Grant, I'm 16 years old and currently undergoing Year 11 in South Australia. At the end of 2014, I plan to be taking part in an expedition to Nepal as a part of the World Challenge program.

A team composed of myself and eleven other students will travel to Nepal, and spend a total of four weeks experiencing their culture, taking part in treks and helping out underprivileged communities.

On this expedition, the students are required to fund and organise accommodation, transport and have to manage the team's budget. This isn't a holiday, it is called a challenge for a reason. The project will be mentally and physically challenging and will take the students out of their comfort zone and they will develop leadership and team working skills.

I'm mostly looking forward to helping out underprivileged villages by taking part in constructing buildings which best suit the needs of the community.

I am hoping to receive a great sense of achievement in this program, knowing that I have contributed in helping those who are less fortunate than myself.
