Kantha Singh, popularly known as Jharkhand's godfather was a car mechanic who had shut down his garage and converted it into a room to provide shelter to orphan children. Even before that, Kantha reportedy used to beg just to feed these orphan children. He now owns two orphanges, one of which, is his own house in Dampara village of East Singhbhum district.
The orphanage started in 2007 with mere 20 orphans now houses more than 300 orphan kids and looks after their education. For his endless efforts to help the orphanage Kantha Singh was awarded by former President of Inida in the presidential house.
All the earnings of this campaign will help Kantha Singh in providing the kids better education and keep a roof on their head.
