The Noels are a prime example of a fantastic welcoming family. But, through there excellence comes their downfall. Their willingness to help others I see second to none, but receiving help is another matter.

I am the boyfriend of Nicola Noel, Rachel & Rogers daughter, and have been living with the family for 3 years. Since I first stepped into their household, both Rachel & Roger have treated me like one of thier own. Through my 3 years with this family I have noticed how much they give and how little they receive.

Clearly, this is no ordinary family. But their circumstances will shock you further. Roger is the only worker of the household, with his wife unable to work due to severe pains in her whole body at the tender age of 39. With three kids: two have been diagnosed with autism leading to them needing specialised schooling and the other with anxiety & depression.

There are no complaints though; they know full well that their are people suffering more than themselves and persist to maintain a happiness around the whole family.

Unfortunately one of their dogs, Marley fell ill in August with severe pancreatitis and was left with a 1 in 10 chance of surviving. Thankfully, he pulled through but left a large vet bill for the family to recover. As you would expect from this family nothing was said about the bill and they got on with it. Unfortunately just when they felt the bill was finally decreasing, the eldest dog of the three, Max, recently suffered from what's was thought to be a water infection and shot the bill back up to £4000.

These constant knock backs have not been unusual for the family in the past 4-5 years. Things just keep happening to discourage their happiness. I would not ask this of the public if I didn't think it was the best thing to do. If I could help them myself, I would do so with no hesitation.

Please donate for the Noels this Christmas, and bring them some joy where there recently, their has been none.
