On 28.9., while we participated BiH championship in Sarajevo, we were told that the Hall, built enthusiastically for many years, was on fire. The building had three halls, the gym, locker rooms, club rooms and it was all destroyed in a huge fire, whitin just three hours.

Judo club "Borsa" was open in 2006. The club has gathered a big number of children and youth and it was one of the most successful sport clubs in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Hundreds of children that went through judo club "Borsa" program are now formed and active young people. National team was mostly formed of members of this club. At the moment of this tragedy the club had 300 children and youth and so it was one of the most numerous sport clubs in our country.

It also had the inclusion program for children with disabilities.

The club had medals from European and and world championshios, as well as the most significant sports competitions in judo. Out of 70 judo clubs in the country of Bosnia and Herzegovina, judo club "Borsa" is regularly among three best clubs in all age categories. Petar Zadro, the potential Olympian and one of the most successful athletes in Bosnia and Herzegovina is also a member of this club from Mostar. The fact that "Borsa" club is a host of the largest sports event in Bosnia and Herzegovina, "Borsa Open" speaks about its organizational capability, world popularity and acceptance. "Borsa Open" gathers more than 1000 contestants from more than 30 countries from all over the world.
