Help The Helper

Anyone who has met Allen Savage will tell you what an amazing human being he is.

In all the time I have known him I have never heard a bad word about him. All of the good things said about him were confirmed even more when he decided to quit his job so that he could care for his ailing grandmother. 

Allen's grandmother, Levadia Johnson, suffered from Alzheimer's and Dementia for the last 10 years of her life and for the last 5 years she was completely dependent on Allen, as she could not stand, walk, or even go to the bathroom on her own. He was her sole caregiver and got absolutely no help from any family members.

Since Levadia's death on February 29, 2012 Allen has been taking odd jobs from friends such as help with church youth activities, etc and has even gotten word of possible steady work, but he is 
waiting for confirmation on that. Allen is extremely grateful for the help he has received but it is not bringing in enough money and he currently has a cut-off notice from his electric company as well as other household expenses he cannot pay.

Our goal in setting up this fund raiser is very simple, to help Allen become the independent member of society that he once was before he, unselfishly, gave up his life to help someone else.

Any donation amount will be greatly appreciated and will go toward helping Allen get back up on his feet again.

As a loving friend of Allen, I would like to thank you all for your help and consideration.
