WHO ARE WE?
The Dominican Sisters at Tynong are part of the Congregation of the Dominican Sisters of Wanganui. Founded in New Zealand in 2002 on the feast of the Immaculate Conception by Mother Mary Micaela O.P., the Congregation is under the direct supervision of His Lordship Bishop Bernard Fellay, SSPX.

The Motherhouse eventually relocated to Tynong, Australia, in 2012, where it continues its work of teaching and religious formation.

WHAT WE DO
The life of the Sisters reflects the contemplative origins of the Congregation. The Sisters are bound to the full Divine Office in Choir, two periods of meditation each day, the Rosary and spiritual reading. They also teach in SSPX schools in both New Zealand and Australia and take part in various apostolates approved by the Church.
Work has also begun on a Teachers' College, which will allow Sisters to gain accredited qualifications which then lead to teacher registration. Our vision is that one day we will expand these courses to make teacher education available for other young Catholic ladies.

HOW TO HELP
Don’t miss this opportunity! The building plan has been divided so you - our benefactor - can donate towards a small or large portion of the convent and consequently take an active and rewarding role in an important work of God and lay up treasures in Heaven.

You can:
1) Give a DONATION towards a room
2) PAY OFF a room by a series of installments
3) GROUP TOGETHER to donate towards a room
4) Simply give a one-off or regular DONATION
Benefactors who sponsor a room or part of a room will have their names engraved on a plaque.
