Saving animals

This is Lateef. His name means "Gentle" in Arabic and he was the first lucky stray dog to be saved from being killed. He was lucky to be picked up by the first ever street dog team in Palestine, a new initiative carried out by the Palestinian Animal League. PAL hope their pilot 'Trap, neuter, vaccinate, release' scheme which is taking place right now will replace all lethal 'control' methods for street animals across Palestine.

Lateef was a bit worried but gentle when he was being neutered, vaccinated and given a thorough healthcheck before being released back to his doggy companions. Little does he know that his life was saved and he was the first of many to be so lucky!

Why I need your help

I am travelling to Palestine on the 7th March to support this project and document their incredible work to bring the stories of these animals back to the UK, to raise funds and awareness to help even more.

To get there I have to fly and this costs £300, which is a lot to cover by myself and I do not want the charity to pay for it - that money should go to the dogs and other animals PAL works to help! So this is where this crowdfunder and YOU (hopefully) come in!

If you could give a small gift to help cover the cost of the flight, you will be helping this incredible project to help more animals. The stories we bring back from Palestine of these dogs who now have a long life ahead, will help give this chance at life to even more dogs and eventually, street cats too. You will be making this happen.
