When I think of the word "Inspiring" I am instantly reminded of these strong and beautiful children. Growing up in a poor society where those with disabilities are thought to be less than by many and treated accordingly so; these kids always have a smile on their face despite their daily struggles. Some may feel that they don't know any different which is the reason they are so full of light with so little to call their own. I believe that it's not hard to know the difference between right and wrong. I also know from spending time with these little angels that they have very vivid imagination and it's not hard for them to imagine what a better life could be like. I believe that they are strong and it is their choice to look beyond their struggles and enjoy every day they have on earth regardless of their circumstances.
I want to help them enhance their quality of life and ability to create as it provides a small but beautiful escape from a harsh reality. Between 3 volunteers we were able to gift a guitar to Noliafor her 15th birthday, the one thing she wanted so desperately. Imagine the things we can do if we all work together. I would like to assist the children with fixing some of their wheelchairs which are in dire need of it, I'd like to provide them with toiletries and art supplies as well.
Any size donation is greatly appreciated.
