On the morning of February 24th, 2023, in Palmares, Costa Rica, the workshop of my family, along with a house nearby, got burned to the ground. The workshop is where my family has been making furniture for over 30 years. Now that it's gone, they have lost their livelihood. The house nearby that also burned down, lived five members of our family. Three adults and two kids.
We are collecting donations to help build the workshop again and help house and clothes our 5 family members who have lost everything.
