Help the cancer patient

My name is Rama, and I am 9 years old. I was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma grade 4 which is a rare malignant brain tumor. I don’t know what risks lie ahead yet, but I know that I have to fight them. I know I will have a very difficult way in front of me, but I will not give up.

I love dinosaurs, animals, riding, swimming and for sure fly like my Mommy. There are tons of things i want to do in this world, and i will beat this cancer to do them all.

I had a successful but difficult surgery and have started my therapy. My therapy protocol includes more surgeries, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, craniotomy and autologous bone marrow transplantation. I don’t know what they mean or what they are, but I should go through them for a year.

My daddy and mommy tried so hard to find me the best option and cure, and I trust them. They always tell me that I am the only thing that they have in the whole world.

Medulloblastoma Grade IV is a high-risk brain tumor and entails a very difficult and thorough procedure. The treatment used has a lot of side effects and Rama will need special care for the duration of one year. Even the least harmful of viruses can be fatal to her, and that’s why the post-surgery care is very expensive.

The little fighter is currently undergoing her second week of Radiotherapy,To date, she's had 13 Radiotherapy sessions and has 21 sessions to go, before her first session of Chemo.

The treatment prescribed by the pediatric oncology department, amounts to $560,000 of which $340,000 Has been paid already.

With savings depleted, we're in need to somehow raise the balance $220,000.
