COVID19 struck hard communities all over the world. Here in Thailand, many Burmese people are living and working, and they were the first to suffer from the pandemic. Many can't support their families and lost their jobs, and especially now when the political situation in Myanmar is getting worse, they struggle to make ends meet.
Here in Koh Phayam there is a lovely community of Burmese working hard. Local businesses are trying to help but it's just not enough!
The girl in the picture is named Mee Mee, she is 8 years old and she's here with her mother alone. Mee Mee needs a monthly blood transfusion that costs 5000 baht (about 160$) and any help is appreciated.
The money raised will be divided so each person/family can pay their debts and support their needs.
Help us help these warm hearted people!
