Campaign Story
A big thank you to all the donations so far! We have made the swim and reached our initial goal but the campaign stays open until the 31st of July. Any amount donated makes a big difference to the Medical Centre which treats the local population and thousands of tourists during summertime.

Iliada, Monica and Dr. Sotiris are joining the Antiparos-Punta Open Water Channel Swimming Race in order to raise funds for essential medical supplies for the Antiparos Medical Center.
The Antiparos Medical Centre http://www.antiparos.gr/en/episkeptes-2/useful-information/health.html is a vital service providing general and emergency health support for locals and tourists. Whether you have injured yourself in an accident or need support for an ongoing medical condition the doctors and support staff provide their expert diagnosis and treatment to thousands of tourists each Summer. Without this facility, many of us would be in a very difficult position during our stay on beautiful Antiparos.
As we all know, times are tough, financially, throughout Greece and this includes the Health Sector. We would like to support the Antiparos Medical Centre by raising some funds for essential general medical supplies needed to keep treating us. Iliada, Monica and Dr. Sotiris will take part in the 2017 Antiparos-Punta Open Water Channel Swimming Race, a distance of 1450 m from Punta in Paros to the Port in Antiparos. https://antiparosonline.com/event/paros-antiparos-channel-crossing-2017/.
The swim will take place on Saturday 8th July. We hope you will join our swim mentally, and support the cause by sponsoring as many of us as you like, as often as you like. Next year, perhaps, you can swim with us and raise further funds for the cause.

* In the event of bad weather, the swim may be postponed for a few days. We will compete on the alternative date. In case of a medical emergency, Dr. Sotiris will have to be replaced by another swimmer.

We are almost up to double the amount of the initial goal, which is so meaningful to the Antiparos Medical Centre! It will make the treatment of locals and tourists a bit easier. Let's reach at least 2906 euro
