Help the 3 times greek dance champions HOOLIGANG compete in the world finals

Οι Hooligang αποτελούν την πιο εκρηκτική εφηβική χορευτική ομάδα στην Ελλάδα!

Είναι από την Θεσσαλονίκη και χορεύουν Hip Hop, Urban & Street Dance από το 2013.Τα κοινά χαρακτηριστικά τους είναι το ταλέντο, η ευγένεια, το ήθος, το ευ αγωνίζεσθαι και η σκληρή δουλεία. Έχουν εμπνεύσει πολλά νέα παιδιά να ασχοληθούν και να εκφραστούν μέσα από τον χορό αλλά έχουν σπάσει και τα στερεότυπα που υπήρχαν για το ποιοι ασχολούνται με αυτό το είδος χορού. Όντας οι ίδιοι μαθητές με άριστες επιδόσεις και διακρίσεις σε πολλούς τομείς (στις φυσικές επιστήμες, τη ρητορική, τις καλές τέχνες, τον εθελοντισμό) και ακολουθώντας αυστηρό πρόγραμμα προπονήσεων και διατροφής όπως οι αθλητές και οι επαγγελματίες χορευτές αποτελούν το πλέον υγιές πρότυπο για τους εφήβους αποδεικνύοντας ότι: η δυνατή έκφραση συναισθημάτων, η ενσυναίσθηση της μουσικής, η ανάγκη του ανήκειν και η σωματική έκρηξη που μπορεί να έχει η εφηβεία μπορούν να εκφραστούν μέσα από το χορό και να αποτελέσουν παράγοντα σωματικής και ψυχικής ισορροπίας.

Έχουν πετύχει αυτό που καμία άλλη ομάδα στην Ελλάδα δεν έχει καταφέρει: έχουν κατακτήσει την πρώτη θέση επί τρεις συνεχόμενες χρονιές στους πανελλήνιους αγώνες Hip Hop International στην κατηγορία εφήβων (13-18) Κάθε χρόνο η διάκριση τους αυτή τους δίνει το δικαίωμα να εκπροσωπήσουν την Ελλάδα στο παγκόσμιο πρωτάθλημα που γίνεται στην Αμερική κάθε καλοκαίρι, ένα όνειρο τους όμως που έως τώρα δε μπόρεσε να πραγματοποιηθεί λόγω έλλειψης χρηματοδότησης και στήριξης τέτοιων πρωτοβουλιών από την πολιτεία.

Φέτος το παγκόσμιο θα γίνει από 5 έως 10 Αυγούστου στο Φοίνιξ της Αριζόνα και οι HOOLIGANG ζητούν τη στήριξη του κόσμου για να μπορέσουν επιτέλους να κάνουν το όνειρο τους πραγματικότητα. Στόχος τους είναι να συγκεντρώσουν 16.000€ ώστε να καλύψουν τα έξοδα μετακίνησης, διαμονής και συμμετοχής στο παγκόσμιο.

HOOLIGANG is the most “explosive” teenage dance crew in Greece!

They are from Thessaloniki and they are dancing Hip Hop, Urban & Street Dance since 2013. The common characteristics of the members of the crew are their talent, politeness and noble emulation, their ethos and word work. They have inspired many young children and teens to engage in and express themselves through dance and have broken the stereotypes that existed for those involved in Hip Hop, Urban & Street Dance.Being students with an excellent performance and distinctions in various academic and not fields such as the physical sciences, rhetoric public speaking, fine arts , volunteering and also following a rigorous workout and nutrition program as professional athletes and dancers , they act as role models for all youngsters. Hooligang dance crew proves that: the dynamic expression of emotions, the responsiveness to music, the need for fellowship and the physical explosionof teenhood can be expressed through dance and be a component of physical and mental balance.

They have achieved what no other team in Greece has ever achieved: they have won the first place for three consecutive years in the Hip Hop International Greek Championship in the teen category (varsity ages 13-18) Every year, this distinction gives them the right to represent Greece in the Hip Hop International World Finals that take place in the US every summer. A dream that till now has never come because of the lack of funding and government support for such initiatives .

This year, the world finals will take place in Phoenix Arizona (5-10 August) and HOOLIGANG are asking for public fund raising so that they can finally make their dream come true. Their objective is to raise 16,000€ until 15/07/2019 to allow them to cover the transportation, accommodation and participation expenses for the US finals.
