Help Tersia recover from a stroke

In July 2019 Tersia suffered a debilitating stroke. This has severely affected her speech and caused cognitive impairment. It has also impacted her writing and reading skills. The medical term for this is Global Aphasia.

Tersia was an enthusiastic journalist and freelance photographer. She also started an NPO named S.M.A.R.T that helps save stranded marine animals along the Garden Route in South Africa.

As you can imagine this is extremely frustrating for Tersia who is normally an independent, strong willed, loving and giving lady. We hope to improve and recover her speech through Speech therapy / Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy. Unfortunately these therapies can be costly and she will require ongoing therapy for the best outcome.

Any Donations will go directly to Therapy to help Tersia recover and become her bubbly talkative self again.
