Campaign Story
A fundraiser to help Terry Owen beat cancer. One of my dearest life-long friends - and a person known to many of you - has been diagnosed with an aggressive prostate cancer and will undergo surgery on the 14th of August 2018. There-after he has to take the road to recovery. As is the risk with all of us - no matter how much we plan and think we will be OK - his medical aid is not going to cover all his medical bills. Add that to the worry of managing his everyday expenses, unexpected medical expenses and the often massive expenses related to securing the best recovery!
Our target is R60 000 over the next 3 months. Let's ease his burden by raising a substantial amount for him. All funds raised goes directly to Terry. All funds over the target also goes to Terry.
The why? Because the Terry I know has given so much to others - throughout his life. I don't want him to be panic struck. I want him to know he is loved, supported and that he has friends who care about him and want him to fight this with all his might. If we can at least ease the financial burden he faces - he can spend his energy on beating this.
