Campaign Story
My name is Hudson Jacobs and I am 14 years old.
Two years ago during Christmas I started having trouble editing my photos and sorting out Chirstmas themed colours like gold, red and green and it was a only a couple months later my optometrist told me I was colour blind.
When I was little I would always get annoyed when I thought green cars were yellow vise versa in a game called spotto, I moved myself out of art class since my first assignment was to make a colour wheel and I have always wanted to see what my photography looks like.
I've never seen what it looks like through the glasses. I've been told words from others who have used it as "bright" and "different". My colour defiency or colour blindness is closest to whats called "Deuteranopia".
I've wanted these glasses for a while but I always wondered if it would be selfish to ask for something that is really a want then a need. They look like any ordinary shades but the technology that use is both interesting and incredible.
People usually ask "What colours cant you see?" or "What colour is this?" and its super annoying. I get that people are curious but it gets old after a while. The matter is many colours get mixed up. Pink, grey and light blues are super hard to tell apart along with red and green.
I cant actually see the colour brown or gold since it always appears green.
I also plan to make a small YouTube video to say thanks to all the donators :D
