HELP TEACHER MPUMI – Rheumatoid arthritis.

Mpumi Shabalala is a pre-school teacher who was diagnosed with Rheumatoid arthritis last year, in 2020. She is only 36 years old and there is not a day that goes by without her being in extreme pain! She gives class to Grade R students and therefore this is a very active and busy job. She is a single mother of 1 boy, with no support from his dad. She has no way to afford medical aid and therefore goes to a government hospital. The medication that she receives from the government hospital is not working for her. (They gave her paracetamol as a painkiller!)

This campaign is to help her see a proper specialist, that can give her the proper treatment. She needs medication that will work in order to provide for her family and to continue her job, which she is very passionate about and extremely good at! Mpumi is a wonderful person and teacher!
