Help Tareq with a foot operation

My friend Tareq is 28 and lives in Palestine, on the Gaza strip. Six months ago he had a very serious accident that meant he had to stop working as an accountant, a job he trained hard for and really enjoyed. Given his accident and the ongoing difficulties of Covid 19 he is now out of work, unable to pay rent and can’t afford the medical treatment he needs to get walking again. Here is a message from Tareq, “I am hoping you can help me by making a small donation towards my fundraising target of $6000. This will cover the cost of the two operations I need to use my feet again; I can then start working, earn money, pay rent and start to live again. As you may know, decades of instability and the ongoing Israeli blockade has left families on the Gaza strip and the West Bank unable to enjoy the most basic of human rights, such as access to food, water and medical treatment. The first operation to put 6 metal pins in my foot was unfortunately not successful. So I now need two more operations to fox the broken bones. The accident also caused bleeding in my liver and spleen, as well as laceration of the intestines. Fortunately, I am recovering from those internal injuries. As I am unable to walk, I can’t work.
