Help Syrian refugees stranded in Greece

In February 2017 I will be joining a team of health practitioners, in association with Involvement Volunteers International, to travel to Greece to help aid Syrian refugees. The focus will be on improving the nutritional status of people living in the camps by supplying food, supplements, seeds to allow for refugees to grow their own gardens and dietary advice. We will also be doing physical examinations to look for signs of malnutrition, which are becoming more evident due to insufficient food rations and limited food variety. Unlike other charities, 100% of what is given will be directly used to buy the supplies needed in the camps. The more we can purchase in Greece the more we can directly support their economy as well as aid the people in need. If all you have to spare is a dollar, I urge you donate a dollar. No amount is too small.
