Deadly chemical attacks have killed and poisoned young children and babies in Idlib, Syria. Medics told us that nearly a third of the casualties they saw were children. Little girls and boys arrived at hospitals pale and unconscious or struggling to breathe. Other children died in the streets before help could arrive.
Syria has been a living nightmare for children and families tormented by six years of war and unimaginable hardship. It underscores how critical the situation is - and how desperately help is needed.
