I was scrolling in my feed when I saw this news about a mother and her son who was both amputated with each of their legs. Unfortunately, they were hit by a white car last January 22. The boy was supposedly a sepak takraw athlete but now his dreams fade away just like that.
I gathered all information I could get, and as you can see here in the video, they are on the side of the road, waiting for the right time to cross. The thing is, nadulas yata tong white car. Tragically, kinailangan putulin ang kanang paa ni JM habang kaliwang paa ang pinutol sa nanay niya.
Handa naman daw sagutin ng nakabundol yung gastusin sa hospital bills, but as for me, we can only imagine the pain and trauma that they are going thru now. Nagpapagaling sila but the pain of losing their legs is something that's truly unbearable. No amount could turn back JM's dream into life again. It would really bother and trouble me if I am the mother and the only money we have ay yung pang gamot naming mag nanay.
Una, nawalan sila parehas ng paa. Pangalawa, yung pangarap ni John para maging Sepak Takraw player ay wala na. And just like you, I want to help.
Kino-contact na po namin yung family through two women who lives in Naga City and a reporter na nakatira rin po doon. Any amount will do but we are hoping to reach P100,000 para sa hospital bills, food nila and livelihood if possible.
