Single dad of 2 needs help

I am a single father of two girls 7 and 9. There mother walked out on use March of this year, after 11 years. I have Hep C and am unable to work right know. We live off of social services right know and i'm trying to get disability to get my treatment for Hep C. I bring in just enough to pay rent and buy a little groceries for the month. Our rent is $800 as we are stuck living in a small one bedroom apartment in a motel. There mother walked out on us for another man and she feels she only needs to give us $100 a month for child support. We Don't receive baby bonus as she stole that as well for her and her boyfriend to spend on them selves and I have to fight and prove the kids are living with me and not her. When she left she stole over $600 from us as well as all our property. Between the custody battle my wife started when she realized the kids would bring her more money. We are fighting to survive as all our money goes to rent, food, and courts. Were not asking for everyone to support us, just a little help as we struggle to get back on our feet. I have tried to find work, unfortunately since I have been a stay at home dad for over a year and with my health problem and my schedule with the kids and courts, I can't find a job. I am working on going back to school myself to get my welders certificate to be able to support my family. Due to my illness I am not able to work as a cook which I have done for over 24 years. It's hard to be a single father and raise girls as it seems there is only help out there for single mothers. Every where i have gone for help, they seem to turn me away as i am a male and not female. We appreciate any spare change you can afford. Please help us get back on our feet.Thanks in Advance.
