Help Support Rico Esparrago for his Cancer Treatment (Lymphoma)

Last August 18, 2017, my brother RICO ESPARRAGO, after undergoing a series of tests like CT scan, ultrasound, and biopsy, was diagnosed with STAGE 3 LYMPHOMA CANCER. It is a cancer that spreads rapidly to the liver, bone marrow, and lungs.

A year ago, before his diagnosis, he experienced having swollen lymph nodes in his neck to which his doctor prescribed an antibiotic to ease the swelling for a short period of time. However, it reappeared in the same spot after a year and this time with distensions in other parts of his body.

His first chemotherapy began last August 10,2018. It consists of four cycles which was not effective. His doctor recommended that he take another four-cycle chemotherapy with a higher dosage of medicine, but the outcome was not good as well. Due to these upshots, a third chemotherapy with four cycles is needed once again.

With the family resources coming to a near exhaustion, we are appealing to your generous hearts to help us cover the further expenses amounting to P570,000 needed by my brother.

COST OF TREATMENT
The four cycles for this third chemotherapy costs P560,000. He has already undergone the first cycle last December 29, 2018 with three remaining cycles amounting to P420,000 and another P10,000 for laboratory tests and CT scans.

UPDATED CONDITION
He is currently confined to a bed because of the effect of chemotherapy in his body. He is experiencing abdominal pain, flu, and non-stop fever, particularly at night because of the cold temperature. He takes a tramadol 500 to lessen the pain he suffers from. He also lost a lot of weight and some of his internal organs are slightly affected, but we are in faith for his complete recovery.

In behalf of our family, I am humbly seeking your assistance and generosity to prolong my brother’s life. We still believe in miracles. We are hoping and praying that someday my brother will be healthy again and can live a normal life.
