I need help in providing my young students with basic skills. Many of my students come to school without basic school supplies.

For the past years I have spent my own money in purchasing supplies for my students. However the district I work for is going through financial hardship and will not be giving me a paycheck for a couple of months.

With your donations I will be able to provide for my students: pencils/ notebooks/ crayons/ glue/ scissors/ P.E. equipment (balls and jump ropes) and other basic school supplies. I sometimes purchase backpacks for a few of my students.

Also I will use some of the funds to purchase incentives for my students. These youngsters appreciate any and all positive recognition. I find that they go the extra mile in their effort to achieve with a little incentive such as a sticker or a sparkly eraser.

Any amount would be helpful and appreciated. If you are able to make a donation if $5 or more I will send you a thank you card handmade from one of my students. If you are able to make a donation of $100 or more I will send you cards handmade from every one of my students.

Whatever amount you send will be greatly appreciated!

Rewards

If you are able to donate $100 I will have each of my students send you a handmade thank you card. The cards will be designed by my youngsters and I can guarantee you that you will feel their love and gratitude in their art work and words. They are after all true artist at this age.
