Help Sugi make like a tree and THRIVE! (not leave) :D

Hello there dearest bbs, family, chosen family, friends, and community,

As some of you may know, a lot has happened to me in the past month:
I started my new job at the Ali Forney Center
I received confirmation about my top surgery which is scheduled for September 19th
I moved out of Bedstuy because my rent went up a whopping ridiculous amount of $600 -_____-

As a result, my mother graciously offered for me and my partner, Martina, to move in with her while I recover from surgery. Which also lends a hand at us finding a new place to move into once I'm recovered.

Here's the thing though:
I won't be working for about 1.5-2 months
Martina will be taking time off from work to assist me
My mother was laid off from her job months ago so Martina and I have offered to pay for some of the rent, food, as well as internet being that my mom cut out that expense a while ago and I DESPERATELY soooo need it now while recovering!!!
AND to top everything off..... My laptop is broken :(

***I made a GoFundMe account back in 2014 for Top Surgery and had a fundraiser party. I didn't reach my goal, however, I still have those funds and set them aside for medical post-op needs, moving, and misc. expenses. Thank you to all the folx who donated and showed up. It really meant the world to me.***
