My name is Subash. I just scored the job of my dreams (working in education) in Shanghai.
But before we get into that, a bit about me. I just graduated with my Masters in the UK after working for 8 hard years in South Africa and a part-time job in the UK to make that happen. I previously worked tutoring children at a youth centre in South Africa and the same in the UK. I’m normally self-sufficient and I love giving back but this opportunity is too great to pass up.
THAT’S WHERE I NEED SOME HELP!!
The reason I created this page is due to the fact that the job I was offered is looking to hire me on in a month. Seeing as how it was never set in stone that I would even get the job I didn't think it was going to happen. I am still paying off a mountain of student debt and I’m blocked from accessing any credit as I’m currently unemployed. So, I got the offer, then it hit me! "How the hell are you getting there?!"
Yea it’s a bit of an issue. So that’s where you lovely lovelies come in. I set the goal to R15000 (£1000) because I believe that is what I will need to cover my visa costs and the required visa expenses, medical, and my plane ticket (from South Africa) outside of what I have saved so far. I’m trying to work towards the rest of my expenses but this would be a great help. (The company is willing to reimburse me the visa cost, around R2500, which I pledge to donate back to someone else in my position).
This job will allow me to do things I've always wanted and dreamed to do as my full-time job and I assure you I will be forever thankful if you can help out.
If nothing else, Stay awesome and thank you.
