My name is Purity, a student that relied on piece jobs to pay for every day expenses and rent. Since South Africa was hit by the Covid-19 pandemic and the lockdown that followed, I found myself loosing every source of income I had. This resulted in my rent going unpaid and though I was able to cover some with generous donations from church members, there is still an outstanding balance. At the moment, I have been locked out and desperately need to pay the outstanding amount. Any amount donated would really go a long way in helping me secure accomodation for this year and allow me to clear rent.
