In June 2020, Stipe recieved a Tounge Cancer diagnosis. Prior to beggining his first chemotherapy cycle, a routine CT scan highlighted multiple tumors in his lungs, lymph nodes and bronchus.
He was diagnosed with Tounge Cancer, Bronchogenic Carcinoma and Lymphoma.
He had glossectomy (a tounge removal surgery) in November, 2020 (after his first chemotherapy cycle), and since then, he is not able to speak anymore.
In December, 2020 he completed second cycle of chemoterapy and had a pneumonectomy (right lung and lymph nodes removal surgery) in January, 2021.
Doctors were very optimistic, but we (his family) were not able to cover all the fees.
The estimated costs moving forward have become increasingly overwhelming. These costs include further testing, a tounge and teeth reconstruction after glossectomy, speech rehabilitation, extended stay in hospital for recovery and fees for third cycle of chemoteraphy.
Stipe, myself and our family are so appreciative of the tremendous outpouring of support and love that we have recieved so far and we hope to be able to share updates and positive news with you on this journey.
*If you are not able to donate, please say a pray for his health and his strenght in a hard battle with multiple cancer diagnosis.
God bless you all!
