Help Start a Nappy Library in North London

Hello,

I am a mum of two girls and both of my girls have used/still uses cloth nappies and it helped us save a lot of money and help save the environment by not using disposables that sits in landfill for years.

I would like to start a cloth nappy library that promotes the use of cloth nappies to the local parents by doing demos with question and answers, testimonials from other parents who uses cloth for their little ones and being able to lend a set of specific type of cloth nappies to help them decide which type of nappy to purchase. There are a few cloth nappy libraries in London, however, there is nothing local and would like to start one.

The funds will go towards purchasing a variety of new or pre-loved cloth nappies to lend to parents for them to try to find out which type of nappy works for them before they purchase new ones if they wish to. It will also go towards purchasing advertising posters, flyers and office supplies.

I also plan to contact cloth nappy companies to find out about their wholesale prices for their nappies, this way, once parents decide that a certain type of cloth nappy works for them, they can purchase straight from us and use the profits to keep the cloth nappy library running.

This will be volunteer run by other local mums who used or uses cloth nappies for their little ones.

This campaign is going to be run indefinitely while we wait for the quotes from cloth nappy companies, I would like to get this going so we can start purchasing individual cloth nappies to lend to parents and get the advertising materials going.
