It was a regular day, Srilaxmi Divi suddenly fell down on the floor unconscious. She woke up with the help of her friends who were near, It was initially thought as a sign of weakness after heavy work. But she fell again breaking her left side of chin and bleeding all over from face.

Everything was changed within a day, She was diagnosed with Brain AVM (Arteriovenous Malformation), A serious condition which caused brain hemorrhage resulting in sudden seizures (Falling unconscious due to blood inside her brain) and caused speech difficulties.
Divi has come to United States in January 2019 for pursuing her master’s degree in Computer Information Systems in University of central Missouri, MO. On the fateful day of March 20th, 2019, she suddenly fell off many times inside her kitchen room falling unconscious due to seizure(s). Her Friend has called 911 and she was rushed to ER in a nearby hospital WMMC (Western Missouri Medical Centre), Missouri and from there she was transferred to RMC (Research Medical Centre), Lee Summit MO as the case was considered more serious.
She has undergone Angiogram, MRA, CTA Multiple times initially to diagnose the problem. It was identified that her left part of the brain was malformed with entanglement of Arteries and Veins which is causing the bleed in her cranium. The Hospital RMC was not in-network of her insurance and could not get an appointment with the doctor to undergo the Brain surgery/radiation for removal of AVMRecommended Treatment :

After consulting multiple specialist doctors (Neurologists, Neuro-surgeons, Radiologists) with follow up of appointments for many days, It was concluded that Brain surgery could permanently lose her Vision and also it drastically affects her speech as the malformation is in the sensitive part of her brain.

Due to the above complexities,
She would be undergoing radiation treatment instead of open brain surgery , which also has potential side effects, for approximately next 3 years in KU Med (University of Kansas Medical Center) beginning from this June. Her parents could not believe that this has happened to her daughter all of sudden and are in complete shock, They were unable to come to United States and divi is fighting her battle all alone. Divi is currently under medication which would make her fatigue and could not do any of her work. She cannot travel by flight as journey is not recommended and cannot drive as seizures could occur anytime.

Divi is always assisted by some other while going to hospital(s) and also in doing her daily activities,
Even before her actual treatment has begun she has received many bills from hospitals. the expenses and The Cost of the medical treatment were too high for her.
Divi is an active student who has 4.0 GPA in her academics and a graduate assitant for a professor in her department for her excellent academic performance and her active participation in university events , This traumatic incident has completely changed her life. Being optimistic and staying positive is the only option despite knowing that She could never be the same person as she was the day before the incident.

I hope this gogetfunding post will help Srilaxmi Divi, Please pray for her recovery and any amount of donation is not too small to overcome this difficult phase of her life.

May god bless you all !Current status :
As said by her neuro surgeon, Once suffered from seizure with brain AVM, There is a high risk of brain haemorrhage immediately in the next 6 months.

We are praying to occur nothing unfortunate which deters her mental and physical ability in this situation.

Please help ! Thank you !
